Noob drop in filter question

I've swapped my OEM intake for the Injen and thought I would go back to the OEM with a drop in filter, been looking at different posts and most I've seen talked about was the HKS, aFe, K&N filters. My question is, which ones require 'oil' for the filter? and which one would I be better off with in terms of long lasting and least required maintenance (cleaning, replacing etc)? I've seen pros and cons about most of them including the HKS having problems trapping dust in the filter and allowing accumulation of particles near the MAF. Not sure if this is always the case but just wanted to know what you guys think.

Thanks in advance.

stick with the dry ones if you going back to stock airbox. I run the TRD air filter.

K&N is an oiled filter. So far, my car's engine hasn't rejected it ...

Any specific recommendations on dry filters? Thought the TRD air filter only fits the TRD intake since its elongated?

The TRD one is basically a K&N, but with a red trim around it. TRD fits in the stock air box. You shouldn't have to worry too much about an oiled filter messing up your maf, unless you really go overboard while re-oiling during your cleaning process it. Most the time you'd at most have to clean your filter once per year, though that's being very generous with it. My friend has run an HKS for 20k miles, no issues at all.
