Ordered two because one of the fellow Perth members is after one so decided to put two in the same airbag(they are small).

@86drift: no probs! I like supporting vendors who are on the ball.

My latest purchase took LESS than 30mins.. AFTER hours. Very happy with that.

KDT Install :/

AVO intake is pretty good. The car feels a bit more responsive.
(I didn't use their AVO air filter, I'm using my TRD one - so I guess its really difficult to tell that much of a performance improvement)

I tried installing my WhiteLine goodies last night. Spent an hour and a half mucking about underneath the car trying to figure out how the heck they installed the items(from their provided instructions).

They say that the gearbox needs to be propped up so you can remove the mount for the KDT926 install, but they make no mention of you having to remove one of the aero panels underneath. Same applies with the KDT922 bush inserts.

Here is a diagram of what I mean.

Also I think that part of the exhaust needs to be removed to install the KDT926 mount as part of the exhaust(near the exhaust hangar hook) is blocking the socket tool from being of any use. You could use a spanner to undo it but I didn't have the patience to do that at 1:30am in the morning.

Edit: found a pic off the forums. Credit to MOTIV Concepts. I've red-dotted the nuts that are blocked by the exhaust

Track and Cruise

Today was a pretty good day.

08:00-12:40 I was at a track event with the SilviaWA club.
Then a cruise with the 86/BRZ WA Crew up Mundaring Weir, Araluen, Coogee
Left cruise at 7:00pm and here back at work until 11:30pm most likely. Gotta find a way to pay for these mods

Here's the rough time sheet

Suprising that my first runs actually had better times.
The stock 215's sure do like to slide around a bit, albeit most of the course was quite 'gravelly'(Silvia guys were mostly drifting instead of doing a time-attack :P )

Update: KDT922 Install

Installed the rear back bushings behind the rear wheels. Took me about an hour and a bit.
Very fiddly to install the rear bolts back on. Will be doing the other two bushings in front of the rear wheel tonight. Will try to complete the KDT926 shifter bushing too.

KDT926 finally installed!

Took half a day off, and went to finish off the rest of my Whiteline Install, namely the KDT926 Shifter bushing.. some pics..

I wish I had a molnar hoist sometimes..

Mid-pipe MUST be removed to install this.

Much easier to remove the cradle assembly with the mid-pipe removed

You can see the OEM rear shifter bushing behind the driveshaft. I wish I the Perrin rear shifter bushing I ordered had arrived. I will need to repeat this install again :/

Finally removed. This is mainly made out of rubber. You can easily move it around without much force. A lot of 'slop'

Lubed up and ready to go.

Quite an easy install, once it's lubed up.

Yay! finally at last it's installed.
