It's around 10 bucks for a day license for Oregon residents. More spendy for out of state folks. I bought an annual license for 32.

There are plenty of places to fish around Portland. Depends on what you want to fish for. Hag lake is ok, but a boat is best there. You can bank fish on the Willamette, just don't eat the fish if it's a non migratory species.

I've been to hagg lake numerous times. I see fishermen there. But I never seen anybody catch anything.

lake is simply too big, and fishing from the bank is hit or miss if you don't get a spot where fish hang out. boat is a must there.

let me know if you wanna go fishing, we can make it happen. i don't have a boat, but i know places we can catch fish. depends on what you wanna fish for.
