Don't you just love it when...

...you see another FR-S BRZ coasting down the highway??

For some reason, even after a 11-hour day at work all pooped out, every time I see another BRZ/FR-S on my way home, I wake up again.

Tonight I was just cruising on my way back home, when behind me I saw 2 BRZ's coming up right next to me. They slowed down and we just cruised for a bit together. It just felt nice.

What else do ya'll love about owning a FR-S/BRZ?!?

Honestly, i really like the community. Folks are super cool and nice, plus the enthusiasm is just so contagious, you just can't help but be excited. It reminds me of the Subaru community a few years back, when everybody would always give a thumbs up, etc. to a fellow owner, what ever model it was.

coasting, no not so much. Hearing one at wide open throttle, exhaust roaring, then yeah I enjoy it more.

I'll second this.

I don't mind the people coming up to me asking about the car either While I'm rather new to the "driving enthusiast" club, the car attracts other enthusiasts and its cool to chat with em. If they don't already know about the car, they seem pretty excited to know more about it. Makes my drives up 128/Lake Berryessa a but more interesting :P

I love driving in the snow with the shitty factory tires. But for real I love the look on my son's face and the laugh he gives when he is in the back seat and I go WOT and he hears the exhaust ....he's 17months old

Today I gave a thumbs up to another BRZ driver in Berkeley. It was awesome. She was waving frantically at me with a huge smile on her face!

My impression, visiting SJ often and living in SF: SF might have more non-enthusiast owners! I see tons of them and always try to say hi - but the owners act shocked or annoyed. Probably just a SF mentality, buncha pricks.
