Forums really blow things out of proportion. We're all on the same team here.

Don't take out your previous bad experiences on your current experiences, how is that a rational mentality? You'll just make things terrible for the buyer and that's unfair.

We haven't had a phone call or a voicemail from you. We answer phones like madmen so I don't know how we would have somehow missed it. But okay.

The oil is my mistake. It was perfectly clean when it was boxed, but it has a brass vented cap for the internal oil and it was probably flipped around in the box so it spilled. Vortech ships these with a brass 100% plugged cap and you change it out during the install. I completely forgot about that. There is extra oil in the box. Clean it off with brake cleaner and you'll be set. Just be sure to add oil. My apologies!

As far as the intake, I'll buy you a new one.

Sound good?

Make sure they rule in your favor before spending that money.

I think 48 working hours is a fair amount of time to give them to reach back out to you.

Thanks guys! You're all correct.

I see forum users running off vendors all the time that make small mistakes and then 20 pages later before they can even respond it's just blown out of proportion, exaggerated 4 times over, and they're made out to be these big scammers...out to screw everyone over. But in reality they just forgot something simple and it could have been easy to fix. Everyone makes mistakes, then people get crazy and make all these accusations about their character...call them scumbags...then expect a calm response.

Oh and the worst part is everyone making claims and being the most vocal regarding the matter aren't even customers and they probably never would have been.

People just be patient. I totally understand the worry and it's okay to get frustrated, but just be patient and optimistic. Don't believe every word you read either. With Paypal and even with your debit/credit card you're 100% protected so calm down. As a vendor, we're not nearly as protected as you and our reputation is on the line. In reality, we're taking the bigger risk by selling to you. If people keep acting the way I have seen on this forum and just about every other one, they're going to scare off all the future cool products and good deals for your chassis. Vendors DO NOT want to do business with the kind of people I explained above. There is such thing as refusing to do business with someone and/or firing a customer, so don't be that guy!

That being said, on behalf of every vendor here...cool customers are so very loved and appreciated. So keep it up!

Good to see a quick response and hope everything gets taken care of so both sides are happy. Mistakes were made and admitted to which is good.

Side note if people want to complain about something and want us to understand DON'T TAKE SHITTY PICS.

again i appologize for the way things blew up. i didnt intend for it to turn into a ritualized burning at the stake of the vendor.
I do a ton of transactions on the forums for my rc race gear and my cars and have been having a ton of issues lately so i may have jumped the gun a bit.

You guys are stepping up and that is what matters. i will definitly note that for everyone to see.

OP bought the Vortech kit from Chase Bays and it got to him damaged and insured for very little. He freaked out with this post and in their sale thread in just a few hours after receiving and of course they blew up with responses. Once a reasonable amount of time had passed Chase Bays got back to them and it's all being taken car of.

thats the quick version.
I made attempts to contact them on the phone, facebook and on here. no response so i posted in the forsale and made this thread to get their attention and hopefully get a response.
the forsale thread got derailed by people not involved in the transaction.

Chase Bays contacted me and is taking care of the pulley for me.

Once i recieve a pulley will update this again as i am in waiting currently

Started installing the kit today while I wait for the pulley....
As I figured I might I ran into problems, lots of missing hardware, bent and butchered parts, including the intercooler having been damaged.

If Chase Bays doesn't help, just open up a claim with your credit card or PayPal. That shit shouldn't happen, especially with a company known like them.

Did you try to contact them before posting here?
If not email them give them 24-48 hrs to respond before you start a claim. No reason to blow things out of proportions! It seems they want to help and resolve an issue that wasn't even caused by them.

Right. Well Shit luck, We don't want to do business with you anymore. According to the multiple other vendors on here that contacted us, there's no making you happy. So we're not going to try anymore. No more wasting each other's time. Please package up your Vortech kit 100% and send it back to us. It would probably be a good idea to add more layers of bubble wrap and packaging to the supercharger so you don't have the same problem we did. Our address is on the box but I will PM it to you as well. Insure it for what you paid for it. Once we get it we will refund you 100%. Also the pulley is being redirected to us instead of you now. Thanks, and sorry it didn't work out.
