In the winter the only thing you need are brake pads and fluid. Otherwise its already track ready.

I will write my review after few days of testing the cars but I can say the small bumbs feel much smother and the car driving feel more firm

The Blistein rear shaft looks to be a tad thicker than the stock rear, did it come with bumpstops or does it require retrofitting of the factory bumpstops?

Nice....are you using the swift springs? What's the ride height with the Bilstein/swift combo compared to stock?
@solidONE I'm pretty sure you're meant to re-use factory bumpstops just like the B14/B16.

You are right. Both front and rears are thicker than the stock. The car now feel more solid and firm than before. The blistein didnt come with bumpstops so we reused the originals.

I have to compare with a stock car. but I will give it a day or two for the shocks to settle.

I believe the Monotube design has built in bump stops. There is a post on this page or the previous with a diagram explaining the Monotube design.

I'm not 100% positive that's how it actually is but according to the diagram these should have bump stops built in?

Can anyone clarify for any future installs?

i think thats only the fronts that are inverted and have built in bumpstops. they probably expect you to use the bump stops that are matched with your springs for the rear. (shorter spring usually has shorter bump stop)

For the B14 where is has shorter body and spring, they still wanted you to use the factory bumpstops. I can only assue that the damping/rebound would have been tuned to account for this otherwise they would have (easily) included shorter bumpstops in the kit...

@8686 any further updates on how you're finding these Bilstein dampers?

Also, anyone know if these are also available from other vendors apart from FT86SP? (I don't mean to say you shouldn't shop from FT86SP....as their customer service is nothing but excellent)

I can confirm that the car became more comfortabpe than stock. I even start thinking to add front and rear strut bars while I was hesitating before because the bad road conditions in my area.

On the other hand, Icouldnt test the improvement in handeling yet even though it is difinitly their.

Looking forward to RCE getting these and running some dyno tests. Would love to hear the max spring rates these can handle for a "no fuss, single valve setting, drop in, set up" for track/autox use. (via GC sleeves with custom spring rates).
