Hmm. I don't see why they don't. I know from experience their stuff is super solid, and if they showed off the damping curves (if they are as good as I think they are) it would make it that much easier to pick their stuff over other brands. Not to mention easier for the end user *points to self* to pair with suitable springs. Their loss.

A lot of folks will just take others word for it via reviews or whatever, but guys like me NEED to know exactly what they are looking at before buying.

I do agree but it's a policy a lot of companies have unfortunately. Some are VERY protective of that sort of thing.

Nice. Idk why..but news on these are so much more exciting to me than much nicer and more expensive coilovers (even ohlins haha). Maybe because they're actually affordable and within the reach to most people, while at the same time being a very reputable and high quality company.

Side by side pics vs OEM shocks please (body/stroke length comparisons)

Might have to get these and team them up with 6kg/6kg or 7kg/7kg GC coilover sleeves

Judging from the pics i'm pretty sure the damper/strut bodies on the B8 are the same one's used in the B14 (except of course for the powder coating and fixed perches instead of threaded). Here's a pic of the front strut for the B14 vs OEM taken from my post install review:

From my observation it looks as if the length of the damper bodies themselves are almost the same as OEM, but the strut hub mounting point is higher up the body.

Flipped piston design, monotube, replacement oem style shocks? I don't think I've ever seen an oem-style replacement shock/strut with a flipped piston (only see those on expensive coilovers and race shock set ups) ..so this is a very nice surprise.
Umm, Bilstein made them for Foresters. I've got two sets.

B14 is flipped piston on the front struts too? (can't tell because of the dust covers).

Also, I think the shaft would be a better quick measuring point in general ..since bodies can obviously be any size/length, while the actual stroke can be shorter.

I got an appointment with my local shop to install it tomorrow. I will ask him to take comparison pictures.
As for affordability, I think they are on the expensive side. They cost me around 950. I was between getting these or the ST coil overs. But I already have the swift lowering springs and I love them. I also have a good experience with Bilstein on my previous cars. So I was not ready to try something different.
For the review, I am not sure how it will go as my shox already blown and car became very bounce. I need to take a ride in complete stock car to feel the difference.

Here is a picture of the front strut
