how to remove gear knob?

Very quick question, how do you remove it?
i assume you just twist it counter clockwise?

First time owning a new car and i'm too scared to touch anything.

Yep, just turn it counterclockwise off, assuming you have a manual gearbox

Same way, just turn it to the left. Make sure that if you get a new knob that it's compatible because the ATs have a different thread pattern.
