Yeah i saw the construction at M&M the other day too...

it will push a lot more normal people into the area of the lot next to Tims.

anyone have ideas of alternate spots if needed?
i know the Loblaws out here in Bells Corners near me is always pretty empty, even more so now that the Zellers is closed and not becoming a Target.

It will have to be near a place where you can get stuff to go. The police can't ask us to leave if we are purchasing product from a nearby vendor.

Lol at East enders... I'll be driving 3+ hours to get there. (no offence, I just found that amusing)

better too keep it more central... Gloucester is getting far for the west enders....

I kid of course, in actual fact this is Ottawa and nothing is far away so i dont really care where.

I say we still try for M&M and if it becomes a problem then cross that bridge when we come to it.

Idea for the meetup spot since Merivale has all that construction right next to the Tims parking lot, the Tims at the corner of prince of wales and hogs back has a big parking lot, might be an idea

I received a ticket (for 103 kph) via courier a couple of weeks later. No points, but the ticket cost $150 and there was a delivery fee (total of $233)! I'm sure everyone around me got caught (I was one of the slower cars).

Thanks for the heads up!!:happy0180:

and to the idea of photo radar: screw you!

$83 delivery fee? What a joke. It only costs me $10 to send a FedEx to Halifax (corporate rate). I wonder who's pocketing the difference?

Sorry to hear about the ticket. Oh well I guess the cruise and lunch I was going to organize to the Chateau Montebello is off. Not a big fan of photo radar and provinces that employ it. ON the Quebec government website it says that all tickets will be reviewed by the police for special circumstances before being sent. To me a construction zone with no construction going on warrants a special circumstance and that the regular speed limit of 100 should apply. Cash grab all the way.
