The best parts are always listening to the really stupid people and the comments they make.
Highlight of the day was sitting in he FRS and the guy working the booth reaches in the pop the hood to show some guys the engine. After about 35 seconds of him struggling I tel him where it is lol

Speaking of which, are the seats different for 2015? Or are the frs/cloth seats different than the leather and alcantara ones? The frs' seats were deeper. It's like they held you more. Even my friend made he. Moment without me saying anything when we got into the frs

Does anybody know where to source a quickjack (https://www.flyinmiata.com/quickjack.htm) for closer to the US price in Canada. Or OTOH know of anywhere in town where I could borrow a lift when doing work on my car?

How much was it ? Doubt there's much to be done contesting, unless you took pics proving you couldn't see it was a double ...

fight a Quebec ticket? dont bother....
last time I tried that it was a huge waste of time and money.
they dont use the same type of 'traffic' court system we do in Ontario.

if you dont have any points lost on it, just pay it an move on

Yeah, in QC not sure if it's worth your time. Won't affect your insurance plus you'll need to go back to fight it (book day off).

In Ontario, passing on a double yellow is not illegal, but must be done safely.
I.e. lots of visibility, no excess speed, etc.. Still tricky but not unlawful. Kinda like on/off ramp speeds, they are "suggested". Officer's discretion of course.

QC is a different deal.

I herd you still get the demerit points on your record, therefor would effect your insurance, at least i read that on the ministry website, that regardless of province the ticket still attaches to your record..

hoping that it is beatable.. I emailed X-coppers just in case.

Are you certain it won't effect insurance? because if not, i'll just pay it and be done with it!

I wish I had no points on it, they gave me 4 god damn points! - Far to many!
I contacted X-Coppers to see what they suggest.

It was 283$ and 4 demerit points, a huge slap in the face. The driver was driving so damn slow. I may just say there was stuff covering the line, like you suggested

Not certain on the insurance. My experience from having tickets in Quebec goes back to 1997. Old guy here, things may have changed and I would ask X-Copper about that.

Lol, I can visualize it now.

A photo of a clear road, with fresh snow only covering the yellows...
"Wut me? Nah, just was like that."
