Buttonwillow 6/27, hottest session of the day (about 100F ambient) temperature results:

- 15 minutes on track
- PTuning laminova cooler
- Setrab series 9 15 row
- Koyo aluminium racing radiator w/ Redline water wetter, 70% distilled water / 30% OEM coolant.
- All -10AN oil ports and hose
- Oil lines routed through air cooler then water cooler before returning to engine

Peak IAT: 123F
Peak Coolant: 240F
Peak RPM: 7443
Peak MPH: 105
Peak Oil: 237F
Peak EGT: 1452F

Avg IAT: 108F
Avg Coolant: 219F
Avg RPM: 5164
Avg MPH: 69
Avg Oil: 213
Avg EGT: 1374F

I'm quite satisfied with this setup as my city street driving is anywhere from 180-200F oil temp. Water is a little warmer than I like for summer track days, but I can live with these results for sure.

Haha. Maybe a little. But it's super fun already so not much is needed. I'm still considering putting the new injectors in there and having you retune it.

I have to double check but there should have still been room for a bit more on the injectors you have in there. Once it isn't 500 degree's out it will also feel significantly better :P the heat takes its toll on your car.

So i was on my way home from work.. No hard pulls or anything.. 4k shifting and out my exhaust pipes came white smoke... FML not sure where is is coming from at the moment and I probably won't know until tomorrow but I know it is oil and not coolant.. both no good regardless.. I see the oil dripping from inside the vband that mates the end of the downpipe to the rest of the exhuast.. Any ideas??

Hard to say as any number of things could cause that. I'd first just verify that the scavenging pump is running as if that stops, the oil will back up and cause it to overflow past the seals. Feel free to give us a call at any time!

Our Owner's thread is not highly active.. It's good and bad.. Kind of bad in a sense that we are on page 2 of the forced induction threads (sucks for the lazy) but Good in the sense that we really don't have many problems with the kit, customer service, or installation/tuning.. I recently had a situation that was resolved within 5 to 6 days (including the weekend).. Ken and Freddy and the guys over at @ptuning really have AMAZING customer service! The kit is so well developed that when you're replacing or installing a part it literally has OEM fitment. Kudos guys! You know I can't thank you guys enough and I am up and running and spooling and boosting for the world to hear. I know this isn't the correct forum to post this but I want people who are interested/researching/shopping around to know that Ptuning stands behind their customers, their product, and their workmanship. And I'm not just a number. I'm not there weekly or monthly (wish I could be) but they know me by name and on the customer side it's a really good feeling! Love this kit!

Couldn't agree more, I often think as I am driving I am so glad to have reliable boost to a point where I am not afraid to take it 5 hours to a track event and back

Yeap! My biggest one was the airport runway shootout where its just hammering the car at WOT's over and over again. The biggest issue I had that day was my stupid splash shielding lol.

I've been away from the track for a few months, but I'm back now! This past weekend was the NorCal 86 Cup - Round 7 and 8 at Thunderhill Raceway. Ambient temps were in the low 90s, and the car was an absolute blast to drive! I'm driving harder than ever now, so I did notice my water temps starting to creep upward a little bit. I may need to look into some more cooling solutions. I did find the water leak that I've mentioned in a previous post... faulty hose clamp was the culprit. So far, I have ~25 track days with this setup.

Here's my best lap from Sunday... ~9 psi on E85:
