The prototype is finished and actually already sold... I really didn't even want to take it off my car but I can't complain about selling them faster than I thought. Hopefully CSG Mike will have a review as well as fitment feedback on a RobiSpec radiator.

Wiring is done with Raychem, Tefzel, and Deutsch DT Series connectors.

The seals came in today as well, they are a perfect fit against the radiator all the way around.

We added this clip to help keep the rubber compressed all the way across. You can see how much more room is gained for a turbo setup.

I had to at least take a picture of it fully installed before I pulled it back out to ship.

I probably wouldn't recommend going on track with a stock radiator and these fans but then again I wouldn't go on the track with the stock radiator in the first place.
So with the Koyo rad and this fan, will it be a cooling upgrade overall compared to the OEM setup? My custom turbo kits hot pipe does run very close to the OEM fans, just like the FB kits do.

If this doesn't compromise the cooling, I am very interested so my fans don't melt..

How much are you selling the combo for?

(Fans and shroud)?

Will you be offering this with a thicker SPAL fan? I'm not going to be going the turbo route so I have some extra room and would like the extra air movement. I like what you guys are doing. Keep up the innovative work.

Yes, this will definitely be an overall cooling upgrade. I would also recommend a low temp thermostat to complete the setup if it is a track car. If it's just a daily/weekend warrior the stock thermostat is better.

We are selling the whole combo for $400.

We definitely could, there are a number of SPAL fans with identical mounting points. Most of the larger fans are almost double the price but we could definitely put a package together for you if you're interested. Feel free to email me at ben@carolinadyno.com or PM me if you're interested. For the turbo guys you could also run a thin fan on the turbo side and a large fan on the open side. Honestly though there wouldn't really be any reason to increase the fan size, there should be no cooling issue regardless of climate or use with this setup so all you would be doing is adding draw on the alternator.

I wish I did. I assume it's a good bit higher than any slim fan just by looking at the OEM profile but that's just an assumption. I don't know of anyway to find out besides having one tested by a third party which probably isn't worth it, there's not much we can do with that info although I'd love to know as well.

I'm happy to report that the shroud fit on the Robispec radiator. We did have to supply our own hardware, but that's our fault for being in a rush to purchase the prototype...

This gives me plenty of room for LSX swap and room for little spooling action!

Sorry about that, I could have thrown some in if I knew you needed it. Glad to hear it fits well, was the seal properly pressed up against the core? There isn't much wiggle room with the seal we had to use.

Have you already started the swap? There should be tons of room I'm interested to see the finished swap.
