I been wanting to revive this thread. I fell in love when I first saw pictures over at MotorTrend despite it being red, (I can't stand the color red it's hideous to me idk why) the car still looks amazing to me. But I hope it's in the 60K price range I'd love to buy one of these in the future. I'd love a Black FT 1.
The car looks VERY light and I wonder how Nissan (GTR) and Honda (NSX) will react if they release the FT-1 at around 60-70K. My question to people out there, I read somewhere that they will be offering 2 transmissions, the Automatic dual clutch or the 6 speed manual. What would you guys pick? |

The front end looks a bit drab but the rear looks quite exotic!

Ive been looking at these Supra pics for two days now. Not sure if serious as a real Supra successor, might be a new flavor 86? Has the lines. Also states headlights are fake, which is good cuz all I see is old Eclipse lights.

Toyota threw some cash at BMW to rebadge the next Z5 in the hopes of combating their reputation as an appliance maker, end of story. My 2 cents, expect a BMW powertrain and an interior from the Toyota parts bin, only questions will be what badges are on it and if they'll put a 4 banger in it to meet a price point, the I6 to wow the press, or both. |

For BMW, my guess is both. 2.0L Turbo 4 for a Z5 sDrive28i, and a 3.0L Turbo 6 for a Z5 sDrive35i. Of course, that's all speculation, but it fits along the lines that BMW typically go with.
