I just saw an EVO MR in the parking garage? Why is this car so expensive? It looks cheap.

The RX-8 may have been a fun car but it was kinda ugly, that 2nd door behind the front doors ruined the design. This is not sporty!!!

Mazda did not have to kill Rx8, just just had to have the balls to redesign it and make the car better. The Mazda Speed 3 is butt ugly in all respects too!

The only thing holding back the FR-S is the butt ugly head unit and the ugly headlights, both of these can be fixed. Headlights not so easy, but you get the point.

A pioneer App Radio 2 is going to look nice in that fake T carbon fiber dash, and its going to be an easy plug and play, even the voice control is going to work flawlessly.

I am glad Scion included a built in mic in the headliner!

ugh, this guy makes it sound like there are no other fun sports cars out there...
Exactly!!! He was reviewing a couple other cars like the mini cooper coupe and a 3.8 Track GC and loved both of them. He even said even though the 2013 3.8 Track has more understeer it was so fun to drive that he give it a A+ in that area. Take everything you hear with a grain of salt.
I haven't seen his MCS review, but it's FWD (Carlos Lago spent a lot of time focusing on RWD in both the
and FRS reviews). The GC-3.8-track-edition costs $9k (36%) more than the FRS, so it doesn't really apply to his comment about wanting an inexpensive sporty coupe.

But since you brought up his GC-3.8-track-edition review, it's worth noting that though he loved how it enters slides so easily and is controllable and fun to drift, he also had quite a bit to complain about. He disliked that it "understeers no matter what you do" and said the shifter is rubbery (he gave driver inputs -steering, shifter, and pedals- a C+ as a whole). He summarized the car as almost there, getting 90% of the enthusiast driver formula right, but needing tweaks like a revised suspension and new shifter. His conclusion was very reserved, with him saying he didn't want to come off as disappointed because he's happy that in this day and age you can buy a MT RWD car. That's hardly a ringing endorsement.

Why not look for a used rx-8?? Those things depreciate like its their job!

Curious on your thoughts on the S2000. To me the brz/fr-s remind me a lot of this car, minus the whole convertible deal.. Love that 2.0 9k redline engine + chasis

Those lap times do not look right. There is simply no way a v6 mustang can beat a ford GT! Somethings up here... I'm thinking these are 2 different tracks.

Guys- lets use our common sense here....

Different driver...

also one of the comments says the lap time of the Ford Gt was on oppposite direction.

At the end of the day that site is not very reliable for comparing lap times.
