thanks for the clarification....

last night i had a dream that i was driving the car around my city. i drifted it a couple of times out of corners but then ended up hitting a curb on the passenger side rear 3/4ths of the car. HAHAA...

i want my car now. lol.

There is no offical release date or launch date. The dealership would have told us this otherwise. They have clearly told me that they would sell me the car now if they had them. They just don't know where they are.

Then why do all the commercials, ads, and promo material printed by SCION list June 1, 2012 as the launch date?

I've seen the commercial about 3 times so far and I have yet to see the June 1st date. If its on the commercial, its not very noticeable.

But I don't think its on the commercial. I'll review it on my PVR tonight. But again, I still haven't seen a single thing which says its June 1st. So what exactly are you looking at?

EDIT: I think I can see the problem here. The Canadian Commerical I've seen on TV is different from the teaser commercial we see on the front page of this website. I'm looking for the Canadian Commercial right now so I can double confirm there is no date at the end of the video. Clearly there is a date at the end of the teaser video so I'm guessing its simply not there for us in Canada. I can't believe I would have missed it 3 times considering I actually watch that commercial (dont watch any normal ones).

bneale is right. The big 6-1-12 is for the US FR-S commercial, not the one in Canada.

As my edit says, I believe the Canadain Commercial is different and I can't confirm this yet.

Again, I've seen it 3 times atleast and never saw the date. I can't believe i missed this 3 times in a row but its possible. I have to watch it again to know for sure.

The price is different at the end so the ending is not the same. I just can't find the Canadian version online via my phone.

I'll check my PVR when I get home. Unless someone can find the canadian version and link it here? I've been looking.

side note has anyone tried to get a insurance qoute lately?

I tried 2 weeks ago and it wasn't in the system yet

EDIT: Just called ICBC directly and they still have no clue what insurance will be as its still not in their system

Crap, I just realized that I am in the Canada subforum. The American Scion commercial did have 6-1-12 at the end of it...I don't know when the stop sale will be lifted in Canada.
