suffice to say that the ecu can only truly target 14.7:1 in closed loop, even if it acts like it isn't sometimes.
Whic is why there is no reason for subaru I calibrate the oem wideband to such extent.

exactly. they use the resolution around 1 where they need it in closed loop.

Where do you live? What is your elevation? Perhaps I overlooked that detail, but elevation plays a pretty decent part (amongst other variables of course) in power output.

I'm not a tuner but I had a similar 'power ceiling' issue with my car in Dubai.

Long story short - getting past 180whp turned out to be a matter of going for a full, proper exhaust (headers + overpipe + front pipe + mid pipe + back box).

I've had 3 exhaust combos on my car (bit of a hodge podge, sorry):

Combination 1:
Stock headers, overpipe & front pipe + Remus mid pipe & back box
= 181.5 whp

Combination 2:
JDL UEL header + stock overpipe & front pipe + Blitz NurSpec C-TI mid pipe & back box
= 175 whp

Combination 3:
JDL UEL header + JDL Overpipe + HKS Hi Power (catted) front pipe, mid pipe & back box
= 189.9whp.

PS - Panel filter only; AFRs tapering down to 12.7 ish at redline IIRC (opted for a safe-ish, richer tune)

TL;DR Go for a full exhaust man & good luck with your tuning!

183 is about right for pump gas timings on a Dynojet. Since you didn't up the timing, then you won't really run any more hp race gas or pump. We've hit 192 now on pump with a header, full exhaust, intake. Just remote tune on that same dyno hit 183 as well when that one first rolled up.

@ultra looks like you did a good comparo on the exhaust stuff. We've found that if you're going to do exhaust, the front makes a difference, but the whole system is where it counts. If you match a full 2.5 (and make sure flanges are all lined up on slotted types!) then you get a nice, smooth laminar exhaust and it actually makes power. Just slapping on one piece or another is usually not great since you get abrupt steps and lots of turbulence.

Otherwise on race gas the OP should be able to get it close to 200 with the setup in the sig.

Unless they made 190whp on the same dyno this guy is using it's irrelevant.

I could tweak the setup so that my car dynos 200whp stock, doesn't mean it's accurate to anyone else.

The guy is doing his own dyno tuning, comes up to a barrier and asks the community for advice. Your advice is to give up, switch products, and pay someone to do it for him.

Ever heard of the term "built not bought"? Some people enjoy doing things themselves.
