As I am contacting dealerships for a quote around my area for a 2014 Scion FR-S I'm purchasing on Wednesday, I wanted to compare with other forum members here with regards to what your Out the Door price was for your Scion FR-S? Did everyone find Scion's no haggle policy to hold true?
Also, please mention if you purchased additional addons. |

Drive- if they don't have you pay website price they will lose their scion license when audited. But I got free tint and spoiler for me. OTD led strip, at, spoiler, extended warranty, and 2k down, no taxes since they paid the tax I financed 24882

As FRStorm mentionned, Scion has a "pure price" policy. The price on the website is the price you will get at the dealer if the car is brand new. If it's used, that doesn't apply.
I made mine on the website, went to my local salesman that day and showed him exactly what I wanted. Got the car for exactly that price, no hassle. He never guessed he could sell a car this quick... but that's another story ![]() Basically, configure it on the website to your needs, then just bring that to your dealer and tell them that's what you want

I got my FRS for 30,800 after taxes.
Basically you configure your car online, look for one at the dealer, pay and leave. No negotiating. It's just like buying something at the store LOL. |

I don't think they haggle, but there were several deals going around for 2013s near the end of this year (1-2k off, maybe more)

"Pure Price" will always be the price you pay but... You can negotiate trade in value, and sometimes accessories like floor matts, fog lights, etc.

Run your own credit report, and get your FICO score.
Don't go into the dealership without knowing that, even if you plan on having your dad cosign you should still know what's on your report and if you have a FICO score. As others have suggested don't go in with 'Hi I have 10K to put down', start at say 1500. If they say no, then ask what kind of downpayment makes it a yes. Cosign only if it's a ridiculous rate (>7%) and you can get a great rate (<2.9) with your Dad. |

Remember if they can't get you on price they'll get you on interest rate. Shop around if they don't get you a good one. Bank of Amerixa is doing some pretty aggressive rates right now
Edit: 0 down, 1.69% interest rate, 27.5K out the door |

12/09/13 - I purchased my 2014 Scion FRS 25,800 before taxes. Its standard, whiteout (thats extra), bespoke ver2, led accent running lights, and spoiler. I told the dealer. I dont want the spoiler and I didnt want any of the other stuff. All I was looking for was a basic whiteout FRS and maybe the bespoke head unit, but it was the only one around the area. I called it bs. I did all the research I could, and if I was to order one it would take months. The paper said 28,500, but I was able to negotiate them to 25,800. I didn't call them back. I waited for them to call me back. They were really upset, but it seem like they couldn't get another buyer. So it was just sitting there on the lot.Just tell them @ 28k you can find yourself a 370z with more power and be happy. the car totally worth 25k basic in my opinion. I put 8k down. interest went from 8% to 1.9% I was trying to get to 0.9% but I dont think it was possible for me.
