- This is the CARB legal tune that is included with the "Factory Tuned" version of the kit.
- The car is 100% stock, except for the Jackson Racing Supercharger kit and the CARB legal tune
- Even the engine oil is the factory fill.
- The torque dip is essentially completely eliminated
- Powerband is far more linear than stock

- +70whp and +40wtq!

CSG Mike thanks for the info. I am really liking this kit. I will keep my eye on this for next year some time I hope to have FI installed. Looking forward to your track days.

Not bad at all. I wonder if you left a couple of hp on the table by not running to 7400 rpm. Seems like it was still pulling hard up top. I like these results for an otherwise stock car though.

In what regard? Both kits have their pros and cons, but it really depends on what your priorities are.

Are you going to stick with the CARB tune or will you have another one created by a local guy to push the kit to its full potential? I'm not sure how things work in Cali. Do you only need the CARB sticker in case you get pulled over and they want to hassle you and then when going for emissions you'd need the tune? Sorry if I'm way off base, not from Cali

Technically, you have to keep the CARB tune.

However, once you have the sticker, it is typical to get away with minor, or difficult to detect changes (such as a tune.. as long as it doesn't screw up the readiness monitors), without any issues.

I believe, with the CARB kit, you are locked out from tuning the car with supplied ECUTek license. You may have to purchase a separate ECUTek kit for further tuning the vehicle.
