Noticed that too (more like $100 a bottle).

Wouldn't you need to see the temps right at the superchargers discharge (before the intercooler) to say anything about thermal efficiency of the superchargers?

I agree, but will take it one step further. You'd need to see the temperature and pressure change across the compressor.

Intercooling doesn't increase air output. It actually decreases air mass going into the engine, due to increased resistance. However, it alow lowers intake temperature, allowing you to tune more aggressively without risk.

Efficiency could be summed up as how much (or how little) excess heat is added to the intake charge, beyond the heat that is generated from compression.

The discussion was about compressor efficiency alone, not the systems efficiency. Otherwise I'd agree.

Great video and info.

Question ... Do you keep stock snorkel air inlet behind bumper or just remove it all together? Just curious given placement of the filter for JR kit.

Ok just to be 100% we're speaking on same piece as per picture I'm referring to what's labelled fresh air scoop. That piece is then permanently removed correct and that is what manual calls for??

Yes, it is removed, and air from that area blows directly over the air filter.
