Everything I've owned has been a Toyota, and all but one have been rear-wheel-drive. They were all slow compared to the FR-S.

Here's the slow one:

And the fast one:

I've had others, but thesr two AE86's really captured my heart.

944 Turbo. Fun and fast car but even though it was low mileage the age was catching up to it (parts breaking; service is expensive it you don't DIY).

1987 Porsche 944 Turbo by ApexRally.com, on Flickr

I did a hillclimb race with it a Maryhill though and that was a blast!

Slow: '61 Ford 2 door Ranch Wagon. Had a 300ci straight six with three on the tree.
Made a great high school sled. I liked the fins and would try to find another if I had the space for it.
Mine was Copper and completely stock. Picture is an example.

Size: 66.1 KB

Midrange: 64 Pontiac LeMans Convertible I had in college. 326 V8 2bl carb with factory four speed transmission.
Nearly identical body to the GTO with different badges.
Made a great college car running back and forth across the state. Copper again. Hmm.

Fastest: '98 BMW K1200RS. Fast bikes cost much less than fast cars and you can stash more of them in a garage,
so, well ... I'm cheap I guess.

Some other stuff along the way which were pretty negligible.

2009 Honda Fit 5-speed, with 117 hp L15 engine. And an absolute blast to drive.

I went to the dealership to buy a Civic Si, but asked to drive a Fit just out of curiosity. I guess you can see how that worked out.

Hailstorm killed it last April, thus the FR-S.
