Did anyone figure out for sure which Toyobaru connectors to buy for a plug-and play harness? I'd like to do it that way instead--without having to junk yard dive for some connectors.

Also how would you make the DRL source wire plug-and play? I guess you'd have to follow the harness there to where it plugs in. So maybe you'd need 4 connectors on both sides:
1 male headlight
1 female headlight
1 male DRL
1 female DRL

Following this wiring diagram to see if I can figure it out. But wiring diagrams are confusing as fak.
*Edit* Looks like A38 (RH side) and A60 (LH Side) Although they look like the same connector.

Umm... on my 2015 BRZ Series.Blue, The second option upwards after "AUTO" already does this... I notice the regular DRL turn off though when you're e-brake is up.

What's the difference?

.........

First, it's not just your special "Series.Blue" that does this, they all do, we all know this, and this has been mentioned.
Second, it's not the same thing, and the whole point of this thread was so we don't have to do that. Reason being, turning the stalk to that position is the same as turning the headlights on, the dash and radio dims, the side markers turn on, the lights stay on when you turn the car off. We were trying to (and have achieved) actual automatic boomerang daytime running lights.

Hey Guys, quick question. I just did this mod this weekend and only wired up the left side. Both sides work and everything is lit up (only used the single diode method). Is there any need to do the other side if everything is working?

Ha. Nevermind with that. I see what happened. At night the auto works and everything comes on. DRLS and Boomerangs. But in the day the DRLs and only 1 boomerang came on. Damn I have to wire the other side now.

Lotta people on this thread and the PnP one seem to prefer the stock behavior (or dimmed DRLs with headlights). Would the DRLs at full brightness at night really be annoying to drivers or something? I think it would look good with them on but don't want to cause issues on the road.....

At somewhat close distances they would be kind of annoying but I doubt they're bright enough to cause any real concern.
I can drive through my neighborhood (15mph) with just the leds on and see just fine.

So has any one managed to create a plug-n-play harness for this mod?

Or does anyone have suggestions on what kind of taps to use so I don't have to solder?

I'm feeling apprehensive about soldering the green wire while its still in the car, and I'd rather not have to remove the headlights just so I can comfortably solder that one wire. I've had bad luck with past projects (not on the BRZ) where I'd accidentally melt plastic because I wasnt being careful enough.

TL;DR: Yes, and Diode Dynamics took over the project a few months back. It's due sometime this month or next.
