Just did the night races and just realized how much better the night driving was than GT5. In GT5, the tracks seemed so dark and the headlights didn't seem to do very much (had to turn up the brightness at times). Now, headlights work a lot better, with the light bouncing back from even more distant surfaces.

FYI to folks, there's a new seasonal out for the BMW M4 (prize is an M4 and a couple of paint chips). I didn't know about it until I went back to try to improve on my times for the other seasonals.

Who else went and bought a BRZ and made it look exactly like their own?

About the only thing I could really match is the paint and wheels (which amazingly, they had the same ones I have!). GT6 needs to add red mudflaps and tail lights as options

yeah unfortunately they don't have wheels that look exactly like mine... it's limited in mesh style selection... so I went with a set of BBS's and painted them black. And no 5AD spoiler. I refuse to put on the Pontiac-style OEM wing.

I also did up an MR2 Spyder like mine too.

You guys are making me feel bad for neglecting GT 6, I haven't played it since launch day! Been too obsessed with Battlefield 4!

actually same here, switched back to BF4. After talking with @OmarYasin yesterday I had to give Hardcore mode a try... it's definitely more difficult but I like it. I am really frustrated with the campaign mode though, 3 times now I have played significantly far into the story and then lost the save point... all that time wasted, need to restart all over again. Some really bad bugs in the game. Even the menu screens are buggy. Multiplayer is great though.

Update to 1.02 just came out, be ready for another 1.2Gb update lol. Quick run down: log in bonus is back, increased pay outs for career mode and red bull x challenge

1.03 update gives you the new FT-1 car (You have to win it by getting at least a bronze trophy in the new seasonal event--Laguna Seca!) and interior that was missing from the M4 Coupe. Woot.

For some reason I could not update from 1.02 to 1.03, my system kept crashing and restarting. So I went and deleted the game data, and figured while I was at it I would go ahead and do the vision GT hack. Went back to version 1.0, and got my 20 million from selling the VGT. Immediately bought a couple of cars, and then went ahead with the update. Well an hour later, after the update I restarted and to my dismay the 20 million was gone and the new cars I had bought weren't there either. Yes, I remembered to save before I turned the network back on and updated. Don't know if I did something wrong, or if the new update knows you've been messing with it and closes the door on that hack. My car images were all gone as well, and I had lost the 15th anniversary 25 car pack keys, so I had to re-download those as well.

Anyways the FT–1 is a cool car to try, I feel like with the wireless controller the car understeers too much and power oversteer is also there. It feels a little better balanced when you're using a steering wheel, but I still feel like it understeers a bit. Anyways that's just my impression after about 10 laps in the car, I'm sure I will learn a little more about how to drive it better as time goes on.
