I just got a set of 08 sti caliper front and rear, and I am thinking to swap bleeder before powder coating them.
Since your 08+ caliper is black already , don't hesitate to use the torch to take those hex bolts out

This ^^

No matter how much I tried, too, it just wouldn't budge on the passenger side hex key set screw. Definitely take your time.

It won't brown but it sure will leave a noticeably ugly discoloration. Mine didn't matter since I was planning to powder coat it anyway.

Doubt any penetrating oil will help, but if you WERE going to try some I'd try something more serious. You definitely want the torch.

Home Depot or any auto parts store - buy a propane torch, they're not expensive. Maybe take it to a shop and have them oxy torch it.

I brought them to a local shop last week. They messed up one of the hex bolt.
I think they might used wrong size hex or did not heat the bolt well.

I should have done it by myself, but it is too late now. Now its a hard time. I dont know whether it will be possible to take of the hex bolt with a stripped hex fitting hole. I brought them to a shop that focus on subaru race car build, and they dont want to do it.

So finally I left the part at another local body shop and they will take a look on Monday.

so sad.

Looks like we're in the same boat! I used a torch on the bolt for a good two minutes and it still didn't go. I don't plan on tracking my car so having it upside down doesn't seem like such a bad idea to me. I have given it my best effort to switch the bleeders aside from drilling and retapping. I feel like anything more than I what I've already done is gonna end badly for me.

Have you tried an impactor of any type? Even one of those hand powered ones, or a 1/4" cordless one might do the job. I've got lots of experience with seized bolts (I live on an island in the North Atlantic) and I find stuff breaks much less often when using an impactor.
