I'm hoping if your catted header can be that smooth taking the cat off won't make it too loud because now I've gotten myself interested in the uncatted version.

Sorry but taking the cat out will make it quite a bit louder.

Well, as much as you guys are tempting me to spend all my money, I'm managing to keep myself in check so far. As long as I'm behaving myself I can wait around for someone to be my guinea pig and post some more sound clips with different set ups.

Because I know how you guys work, I shouldn't really be asking this question. But, will each and every flange be inspected before shipment so we don't end up with any Borla type warps?

I'm definitely picking up one of these later this year, once I'm finished doing my suspension!

So, basically, everyone is just waiting for that email. FT86 SpeedFactory will have this header backordered for months.

Great video!

Can't wait for the new dynos with full headerback system... no-tune please

A little off-topic:
**I prefer "no-tune dynos" when comparing hardware parts - as a stock-tune can be looked at as an ultimate equalizer and a fair baseline to compare said new parts/modifications with other companies ...sorta like how photographers/graphic-designers/videographers "calibrate" their monitors to be "flat/neutral" so clients all over the world will see the same thing and will be equal.. another example.. studio audio monitors..the "best" are the most "flat" and equal to everyone else's monitors around the world.

Similarly..a stock/no-tune ecu can be looked at as a calibration tool. And, a tuned-ecu is going to obviously be all over the place and emphasizing different qualities (like upping the color saturation and contrast on a photographer's monitor to make it look better.. or, an audio studio monitor upping the bass and treble on the eq to make it sound better ...when it really isn't and isn't representing the audio/visual "truth".)

Tuned dynos are of course interesting... but I see that as more of a tool to tune a racecar or engine to try to push the most power out or to prove how much power you can gain...but, not really as a good baseline comparison to compare with other manufacturers (especially since there are many different tuners with diff skillsets and also different computers..and not to mention, you can easily "cheat" more horsepower from said product from a better tune)**

Just finished CAI+overpipe+catted front pipe and 2.5" catback tonight.

I know you know this feeling... You know this feeling very well... I mean, you got your table all set up, your fork, your knife, your A1 sauce...

All you need is the steak.
