Dyno:
Car was completely stock. Only mod was the Catted UEL. No tune, no other exhaust bits, no intake, stock as a rock on 91 Octane.

Look at that torque dip fix! So much better! Nice gains up top too (Especially considering there is a cat in there still)

How quickly will the ECU start "fixing" things to return the tq and hp curves back to stock on this header?

Interesting. Will a tune prevent that?
Also, no flex joints. Maybe they are not super necessary? Or perhaps this is just beta

It is a beta, there will probably be some tweaks, but overall looks good on the dyno. I'm excited at how it seems to work with stock ecu; @FT-86 SpeedFactory will there be further dyno time after the ecu has "learned" the new hardware? At this point I'm pretty well decided on this header design pending street time and end user reviews.

A respectAble sound is important for me. A cat should help with this

The ECU cant see the torque it doesnt "fix" such things. It has parameters that it wants to keep in line such as Air/Fuel ratio....so the ECU wouldnt change the way its logic is to make less power is what Im saying.

A tune is what'll be necessary to prevent that, yes, but I know some folks have had trouble even then:

But even more impressive is how smooth the curve is. The torque hole is filled in nicely and the upper rpm part of the curve is nicely elevated all the way to redline. Tiniest of losses at very low rpm but not enough to matter, especially with all the good changes.

That is what I'm curious about mostly, but it's nice to know the dip won't come back though!
