Nothing to do with "catching a hell of a break", its all about location, driver age, and driving record. When I was in my late teens/early 20's, I paid more for two cars ($220/month) than I do now for six cars ($198/month). My Mini is only $24/month for the same coverage, and my Miata, without comp or collision is $12/month.

i should have mentioned that you "caught a break" as opposed to others with a
more "interesting" driving record! my bad! wasn't descriptive enough! i expect a " similar ''write up" when i apply for my coverage soon,as my record parallels your own.i will be doing multi-car, multi drivers, and house tossed into the mix.i'm 62 with zero claims, and zero violations,non-smoker,and alarms up the ying-yang. |

I contacted Geico to get that changed and they switched it to FR-S without a premium change. Always a good idea I guess; I just like it when things are more accurate. And it was required by my lienholder.

Anyone can share if they have an insurance company that covers aftermarket turbocharged vehicles?

I had the option of choosing aftermarket parts coverage, but it said it only mattered if they were exterior parts. Engine upgrades weren't covered and also didn't affect the premium.

My Farmer's agent has an option, and they cover up to 50k in mods. My agent has a track ready 500+whp STi. So, he knows how much can go into a car.

What's the insurance called? Sorry there's so many "Something Farm" or "Farm Something" companies out there.

$55.50/mo for full coverage on my FR-S (100/300/100, $500 deduct on comp/collision)
Progressive 25 years old - Single No tickets My MR2 is $77.50/mo for Liability, so I total $133 a month, or $798 every 6 (which is what I do).
