Now through the end of the year we're offering 5% off on the purchase of a Flash & Go/Innovate/NA tune + our Flex Fuel kit. This can also be combined with an EcuTek License and/or EcuTek Cable Kit. Use coupon code DT-COMBO-5 at checkout. Enjoy and happy holidays!

Sincerely,

Does this tune include the ACE front pipe as well or will another tune be released for that combination?

Thanks.

We are currently testing the front pipe (on our daily driver) on the current tune to see how it reacts to the tune. So far you can feel it adds a bit of mid range of the power band and a much quicker throttle response over the stock front pipe.

Hello William,

Thanks for all your work getting us to the current state of the art in tuning.

Trying to understand where things currently stand. The Link provided above to results on DT web page for stage two tune with ACE header said:

"The Stage 2 reflash using E85 for your Toyota FT86, Scion FRS or Subaru BRZ adds increased torque across the board and nearly eliminates the awful 4000 RPM dip felt by many and seen in many a dyno chart. In order to use the Stage 2 tune we highly recommend installing a full header back exhaust system in order to take full advantage of the improved performance. As far as which headers we suggest using either the ACE Muffler 4-2-1 Header for this package."

Q1: Either = Type A or B, or one of the three variants of each?

Q2: Using the OEM header back leaves how much on the performance table compared to "full header back system"? And details of FHBS tested i.e. Diameter, number of cats, etc. please to better evaluate cost per performance gained.

Thanks

Q1 - A, if you don't mind spend extra and there still are some in stock, but B is cheaper and not much worse. > 350 < - most torque, a bit less hp, should be one to get. 150 - most hp at top, less torque (somewhat similar to other top ELs on market. Should be fine on track where one keeps near redline in powerband, not so fine for daily driving). 250 - somewhat middle torque/hp wise. 350 may have fitting/rubbing issues on automatic transmissions/RHD though. Check up Ace's related threads for nfo.
Q2 - actually Ace gets most gains from which you can get with full bolt ons while NA, and adding rest will be not too cost effective imho due diminishing returns when nearing +40whp .. imho you'll be fine with OEM catback too. Maybe just add aftermarket air filter. Also if considering other bolt on upgrades, remember that catless header increases loudness a lot, so choose quieter catbacks like eg. Q300 if you decide to change out stock.

You pretty much hit it right on the dot here. Our shop car has a Type A 350 installed along with the stock catback. We've finished dialing in our tune for this system, and it's available on our website here: http://www.delicioustuning.com/node/484

Recently, we've also added the Ace front pipe. We should be getting some additional fine tuning done around the front pipe soon. Our standard Stage 2 NA tune already worked pretty well with this setup; this Ace specific tune adds a bit more power, and offers considerable fueling and cam timing changes to suit its specific powerband. What this means for the end user is ultimately a smoother driving experience with a bit more power on tap than our typical map.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

I can't seem to find 97 RON fuel rating in the website.

Can I go for 98 RON option or that would be dangers?

You can always specify 97 RON in the comments section at checkout, and we can calibrate for that specific fuel. I believe we've tuned a couple folks in Qatar with the same 97 RON fuel.

Delicious Tuning

Ok so i want to get the cable kit. Where do i purchase? Your website? Will i be able to see what parameters and maps are currently set on the ecu as was tuned in Japan? I also want to install a header on the car, does this mean you guys can sell me a map and i can put it in myself? Do I even need to visit a dyno? If the car can indeed be tuned without a tuner physically present then this is very exciting news to me as access to a good tuner in extremely difficult here in the caribbean.

What you'd need is a cable kit, license, and tune. You can check those out on our website here: www.delicioustuning.com/Stage_2_PumpGas

You will be able to datalog certain parameters on the factory map with the cable kit, and more with our tune, but you will not be able to edit or view any of the maps themselves as they are locked. You can install our maps from the comfort of your garage, without ever needing to see a separate tuner or dyno!

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning
