There was one directly under the center of the manifold... If that is what you are talking about

Just came from checking out the website and for the $4,423 you get a manifold with downpipe plus intercooler and piping hardware? I may be missing something but i think thats retarded expensive considering any turbo selection would set you back another 2k and that still doesn't include the IC mount beam or any fuel? I know its full race but that kit looks sloppy as hell under the hood.. maybe its not a finished product they have pictured but still. Please ignore my ignorace, i may be missing something and if thats the case i apologize in advance otherise... lol.

I guess you pay for things like their manifold design which is unique versus other turbo kits. Same as you can buy a $400 Ebay header or you can buy a $1300 Nameless/PTuning header.

They don't say much about the crash beam I had thought it was included as part of the kit?

There is a braket for the IC, no cutting of the crash beam needed (stated somewhere in here). That $4,400 goes to the hardware, piping and other shit, not including the turbo and they left tuning up to the customer. Seems pricey to me as well, seeing as how they have a loyal fanbase, they make good quality stuff. Definitely one of the more expensive kits on the market, although i would have guessed that from the beginning.

Full Race has been known for making excellent quality product with excellent results for a VERY long time. If it's out of your price range than it's out of your price range, but for people that have used their stuff in the past we know what to expect. Worth every penny.

To be honest it has nothing to do with price range as most kits out there are similarly priced(even supercharger kits) but get a lot more for the same money(fans, coolant reservoirs, vacuum blocks, crash beams, rad support...) then again as you mentioned they make quality stuff. To each their own but i think JDL, Ptuning, Maperfomance and most vendors here that fabricate a kit make quality stuff as well. This was just my opinion based on my observations, not a flame igniter. I'm sure there are things that i may be overlooking with this company such as turbocharger used...

Guys they've stated just a few posts up that the heat shield is included, but I don't remember seeing that mentioned on their site. I wonder what else is included? Before anyone makes any assumptions it'd be nice to get a full break down of what's included in the kit. Also keep in mind that even the stage 2 avo kit is $6000. http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/avo-...3941fbae379a33

Was any thought put into running that manifold on an NA car as a header?

Yeah the PTuning kit is $5,795.00 with a $1400 turbo, so that's about the same and it comes with even less hot piping. It doesn't include a header since it uses the stock header location and a very short downpipe to connect to the stock piping. It comes with an oil pump and a swaybar but that's based on their design decisions making them a necessity.

I've come to the conclusion that the AVO kits are notoriously overpriced. FullBlown,MAP, JDL, all have kits with fairly large turbos in them all dressed up for about the same price. the difference is they offer a tuning solution, injectors and a fuel pump.

The crash beam is included in the kit or is it optional, what of the winshield washer fluid, is it relocated?

Their swaybar has a "jog" in it to clear some of the turbo kit parts.

Can someone here educate me on the pros of the EFR turbos.. im sure if Full-Race is using them, they're pretty good but. Is the main purpose of the internal wastegate and bov to save space? @Full-Race Geoff would happen to have some more pics if any of customer's cars. Thanks

Having exchanged multiple PMs and a phone call with Geoff, he has educated me on the advantages of the BW EFR turbo. He will link you to this:

http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticl...ature-Set.aspx

http://www.full-race.com/articles/efrturbotechbrief.pdf

I read the whole EFR turbo tech brief. The biggest advantages come in terms of racing with lighter weight components. The EFR turbo is generally a larger turbo and harder to package than a similarly sized Garrett GTX due to the center bearing design. There are advantages in packaging with the internal wastegate not requiring multiple wastegates and dump tubes for a twin scroll setup.
