I have Stance Supersport coilovers with the standard 7k/7k spring rates they come with. They are good coilovers for the money and their customer service/warranty is excellent. That's what made me go Stance over BC BR being that stance covers their products for 2yr vs BC only warranties for one yr.

+1 to Fortune Auto over BCs for your budget.
From what I've been told, from what I've seen, and from what I've experienced, they are IMO, a much better product. I autocross my car... it's not 100% set up for STX, but it still holds its own. My friend has an m3, running on wider wheels/tires and has BCs. His car is faster than mine, and is running in a theoretically faster class (STU). Every time, I beat him. Yes, I know these cars are like miatas, but I'm talking theory here, as there are some STU cars that get faster times than me every event. Anyway, I had originally looked at BCs, but after a quick search, I came to these GENERAL conclusions: 1. Subaru and BMW owners are biased towards BC 2. Evo owners are biased towards Fortune Auto 3. If budget is the PRIMARY concern, most choose BC over FA 4. Given prior experiences, a BC owner is more likely to switch to FA given a second chance 5. FA has more consistent valving and pairs similar performing struts together 6. FA has a better warranty and customer eperience 7. FA has a larger piston diameter than BC Again, these are just general conclusions that I found within 5 minutes by searching the web... They aren't always true (regards to biases). Just some things to consider There are plenty of knowledgeable people on here, vendors included. Since you have some time before purchasing, I'm sure you'll find a solution that will make you happy and fits your needs |

i had BC's on my sti, dont get me wrong they do what they are supposed to do, they lower your car. however the ride is shit, and most liekly you will not have a matching set of coils. FA is better because you're more likely to get a matching set, but in the end, its still crap. you want a great ride and a certain height, look into ST, kw v1, RCE zero. or spend a little bit extra and get V3's and have one of the best coilovers on the market. 1800$ is a good budget, and would be sad to blow it on sub-par product. |

Fortune auto is definitely a good choice for budget systems. If you have the money to spend a little bit more, the higher end(ohlins, jrz, clubsport, and V3) are definite the way to go.

![]() So true, my car is stanced at the moment and i love the BC (for stancing) i got the springs i wanted and they go as low as i want them to. After new years when i go a different route ( Turbo build with huge power) im getting a set of proper coilovers. Billstens, Kw's , St's and RCE . Thats because they are built for a proper purpose. Im also not getting top hats ( most likely ) and staying with camber bolts. Im still going to max out what ever coil i get though |

Under $1500 and dropped 2"
RCE 0 > Fortune Auto 500 > Stance > BC > Megans I have Fortune's and am hesitant to say RCE are better, but oh well. Would have included ST in the list, but they don't drop enough for the OP. |

It seems like a lot of people are picking stance. Is there a reason why? Personal experience. better quality, or better customer service? Is one company's product better? Or is it all the same? Help! I'm on the same boat as the OP
