Unless something comes up, I am planning to go to Autobahn Jessup this Sunday. No "sweeeet ride" to show off, so I will be aiming for their normal hours, eight races starting around 10 am.

Ultimately none of you showed up... pity, it was such a good day to be there.

Because:
1. To compensate for some glitches I got additional races. Ultimately, for the price of 8 races I raced twelve times. My shoulders are hurting.
2. I beat my previous best times on both tracks. I ended up within 15 best times of the week on track 1 and with 10 best on track 2.
3. I learned that Manassas track should open early in May.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have their own helmet? I'm considering buying one & I'm not sure where to start.

I am still renting theirs. I use my own headsock and neck collar. But I might be interested in getting a helmet at some point too.

I thought of getting gloves after I got blisters on my handd, but that was only on one track, which I don't go to. Never happened at Autobahn.

Nice where did you get your head sock from? Go glove-less! It'll help you build grip strength.

I raced once at a track which did not provide them for free, you had to buy one (cheap). I just kept mine and I bring it to other tracks. I like it for hygienic reasons. I think Autobahn may be selling headsocks too.
