I got my Mtec springs for about half that just a few months ago.

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

It would be safe to assume that no one will buy from them then....and if you do, well, you are not what I'd chalk up to being number one on the IQ charts. I've seen stuff like that on ebay too. Item selling for $5 and you know in the store that it goes for $18 and then you click "Buy" and then you see shipping is $21.95 and you just hosed yourself. Surprisingly, the vendor hasn't commented on this yet...........

Yeah. Ppl arguing over $10 on a technical review thread & ppl who put pink red aftermarket lug nuts on oem wheels just for looks. Should really sell their cars and delete their membership from this forum.

To update: twm short shifter + twm rear bushing + white line trans insert. (Took off force fab steel inserts cause it was too much vibration) . The shifting is super short and direct. Adding the springs makes it shift easier. Literally easier.

Before spring with all the shifting upgrades made everything really tight and requires a lil "push" to get into gears.

After spring, still just as tight. Just less push now. It glides in.

It won't make your current set up any more lose or direct or whatever.

The springs ONLY "help" and "glides" in easier.

Its like using lube during one of our favorite activities. Wink wink

What?

You could literally put those in an envelope for $0.46. Is there some tax that I don't know about?

I think the (my) initial confusion came from wording in OP's first posting. (Above) The word 'shipping' should have been 'shipped'. I assumed that the shipping cost was $48.65 plus the cost of the springs.

FT86Speedfactory and MTEC are both $32.98 for the springs. The shipping costs are different by (to my location in Md.) $13.44.

FT86 wants $19.70 to ship a 4 pound package (??) and MTEC is $6.04 for a postal envelope.

End of confusion................

Yeah, I ordered directly from MTEC. Springs arrived in a bubblewrap-padded envelope.

I bought mine on eBay.... MTEC sells them for $32.98, but you can make a lower offer too (I got mine accepted at $28 - plus shipping, it came out to about $34USD, shipped to CBI USA in Niagara Falls)

The only set for removing passenger side spring is this socket. Blue and white marked the stock springs.Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408182627.177762.jpg

You should look into getting the TWM or Cusco front carrier bushings, reduces the side to side slop while in gear. Cheap too
