No huge spikes in the torque curve so it should hook up pretty well assuming quality meat all around.

Linear power just like stock, but 3 times the fun!

It's what you would call a "dyno queen".

Notice how there's no videos of it at a track or on the street. Just one video of a dyno run out there.

Car will be seeing the track heavily next year. We had to decide what was more important, taking care of customer's orders/projects or go racing.

Now that we are back up to speed, we will be taking it out on a new setup

Well you should visit Sharjah scrap yards more often . 300 bucks.. That was around 3 years ago maybe, I've quit the business and I was helping a friend build a project and gave him rough estimates and then he came up to me and said every price that you have said, double that and that's how much the parts cost nowadays and I was shocked.

you don't need 2jzgte, 2jzge from lexus works just fine. If buy wrecked and/or you got time to part the car up (is300 or gs300), you can virtually get that engine for free. Change pistons, rods etc from supra (bunch of those sold used for cheap on forums). Do work yourself. I don't see huge cost, if you got half brain about working on the cars. I really don't see the point of spending 24k-30 on frs/brz to do that, but from replacement parts/work, no biggie. If you're gonna pay shops to do stuff for you etc, you shouldn't do it in the first place. A lot of stuff can go busted, when you are out enjoying the drive. What are you gonna do then? Pay shop to fix your motor or whatever blows, again?

It does get up there. My shop was hooking me up with major discounts with the 2j build if I had stayed on that route but even then the whole build would've cost me 30K and I just didn't want to pay that. The 2jz with v160 trans would've cost me about $8500 alone...and we aren't even touching the custom fab work, turbos, axels, rear end, tuning software (Pro EFI would've been used and that isn't cheap by any means)

^^This is true. I am not wealth but very money conscious and I am not trying to shell out that much for a build especially when I know a GTR is coming my way once NISMO is released.

Now this is something I have considered but I want to know how much of that power is going to be practical on the street. I am leaning towards built and very conservative tunes because these flat 4 motors tend to blow a lot but on the other hand I hear issues have been worked out but I still hear horror stories of blow motors smh

Paying for the name although it is one of the most stout motors ever made IMO. Can handle up to mid 700s stock which is insane. Not too many motor can pull that off.

You've got to be more than money-conscious if you're able to afford a car that costs more than I make in a year before Uncle Obama (Uncle Sam got laid off b/c the government couldn't afford his health insurance) comes and takes his self-appointed 25+% cut.

I'm not saying this as a negative thing. I think that if you've got the financial ability, then there's nothing wrong with buying a new very expensive car. But cars that expensive require more than just being smart with money... it involves having a substantial amount to be smart with .

Lol true true. And I think I know the route I am going to go down with the car so it will be a matter of waiting and seeing how it will turn out. Hopefully it will all work out for the best and if it does this will be one build that will definitely gain a lot of attention.

One thing I really like with this car over my other Subarus is how it looks. The WRX and STI were fun, performance vehicles but really they were only beautiful to those who liked AWD performance and looked unremarkable otherwise (except for the STI's big wing). The twins on the other hand... gorgeous vehicles.

And that GT-R you keep speaking of... I think it has even better, more gorgeous lines than some of the exotics. If the BRZ/FR-S is "hot", then the GT-R is "Absolutely smokin'!"
