I am not volunteering myself by any means but I am working on learning Swift which is the new App programming language that was unveiled at WWDC on Monday. I miss coding and am looking to get back into it.

I've been playing with it, and like it, so far. Much simpler than objective-c.

I've been looking at getting into programming for android... although finding time is an issue lol.

On a side note, I noticed that 86drive says big lots for tonights meet. Who has the ability to update and edit that calendar?

Indeed, it is. Did you watch the Swift presentation yesterday? Dave Addey, one of the presenters on stage, and the guy who wrote the Swift programming book is a good friend of mine. Will be picking his brain... a lot!

I do, and a few others do. Changed it back to 1st st.
The two meeting spots are literally 3 miles apart. I suppose if anyone wanted to they could actually cruise by both tonight.

If anyone wants to have access to edit/update the calendar and is willing to help monitor/update weekly spot on behalf of the South Bay group, please PM me. It can be one person or multiple persons who can share the responsibility.
Same goes for the SF weekly meet group (I'll post this there too).

Is there need for an app when gcal does what we need already? Add the calender and turn on reminders. It even popped up on my desktop with drive time to 1st St. 27min.

Anyway, have fun, my knee is still not up to a whole night out. Next week, I'll be back.

Add 86DRIVE to your homescreen, it kinda looks like an app.
