YESSS!!!! Exactly this!!! FR-S does look a lot better in photos than it does in person. Like I said previously, my buddy parks his FR-S next to my BRZ every day and in person the FR-S bumper does not look as good as it does in pictures. Weird how it works like that.

In person I feel that BRZ bumper = FR-S bumper. They both look great and each add their own style.

Leather seats is something I would've really liked in my 10 Series!

It's the lack of fog lights and the hid headlights that doesn't help the front fascia of the FR-S. I think the 10-series and GT86 gives off a much more upscale feel.

Considering that the colors aren't going to be unique, I wouldn't be surprised if they came stock from the factory and then were fit with the appropriate parts at the dealership

America nobody gets and could soon disappear making it even more special.

I don't know what personal trauma people have experienced to become so allergic to a 'brand' or logo. I remember the stupid 10 Series commercials Scion made and honestly they're actually funny as hell once you 'get it'.

This is actually how the Japanese would perceive us Americans in their cute/quirky fashion. I think it's fucking hilarious. I also think Scion is the most Japanese of ways that they would perceive a specific American market niche. It's awesome.
Although I like the brand recognition of Toyota, I am willing to give Scion a chance. I agree that their logo looks kind of cool and isn't as recognizable as the other brands which makes the car seem a bit more exotic. But so far Scion has made some very poor decisions with how they do things. However, with this news it does seem that they may be listening and willing to change after all.

Now if they make these features a la carte and customizable for next year, then I would be sooo happy!

I just dont like the fog's cover grill. If I get the FRS, I would definitely install the fog kits. That will be number one of my build lists. The grill looks fake and cheap, imo.

I don't think the color has been announced yet. We will see.

Just FYI, from first post.

The standard FR-S exterior color palette applies.

did not see that. Fark, in that case I would wait if I were looking for twins.

I would get RED GT86! Rebadge them!

Ouch to whoever rebuilds their FRS to GT86's spec. Now, the LED lights are not rare anymore lol.

i don't think so -- the parts like the push button start and auto climate control are more work to replace than just swapping out the panels iirc.

i'd be surprised if they don't make it a limited number, but then again i wouldn't be unhappy

First, you might as well take those Toyota badges off all together, because the car is more SUBARU than anything. Since you don't live in Japan, Europe, Australia or anywhere else that the car is branded as Toyota, just get used to the fact that you are driving a SCION. should have just bought the BRZ if you really didn't like brand image from Scion. secondly, its your opinion that you do not like the scion image or the features that scion adds to the car, and thats great! my opinion is anyone who buys a scion and then pretends its a Toyota from another country is a poser that is still driving a scion.
So in your opinion 4 badges and 4 center caps of scion > an entire car branded by Toyota/Subaru? That is some fucking logic.

I actually did go top buy a BRZ initially but dumb asses as Subaru of Sherman don't seem to be interested to sale any of them. Due to my frustration i walked across the street and got the car I currently own.

Again no matter how you put it over the years Scion has become the epitome of everything ugly.

To have your guys' minds blown even more, after the Monogram Series Toyota will FINALLY release the Scion FR-S TRD Series, so you'll get the suspension, brakes, aero, red interior bits, etc.

Watch this video and you'll get what Scion is really about! It's very Japanese. After watching this, the Scion 10 series commercial makes perfect sense!!
You are either too young or completely in a different locale than SoCal. Come to SoCal and you will understand what Scion has become.

It's not about how cool the logo is or how cool scion commercials are. Scion has become synonymous with cheaply and horribly modified box cars. Just looking at tC's aris enough to make anyone throw up.

Toyota's intention might have been different but the execution also hasn't helped.
