I couldn't get my little brother's '13 WRX to start from a standstill in 1st w/o throttle. Maybe I wasn't patient enough but that engine bogs down really easily...+AWD resistance...not as easy as our lightweight rwd cars

Only thing I've ever owned that couldn't do this was a 1970s 2 stroke MX bike. Great way to teach people how to drive a manual though.

Yeah and if you have more torques(like my old 5.0 mustang had) you can keep accelerating. That stang would get up to 40 on flat ground under idle engine speeds.
