In my family in order over the last 20y

1983 Corolla 1.3GL 5-speed RWD (traded for BMW E30 - also miss that car)

2000 Corolla RXI 6-speed (traded in tearfully for...)

2012 86 Std. 6-speed (In love after a year - car very likely to be with me for some time)

Toyota has a good reputation in SA for quality and service, slightly haphazard with 86 but so far not many full failures - Subaru might know something after-all.

1985 - corolla 1.6 - sold
1991 - Corolla twincam - sold, sad
1994 - corolla 180i - this one i had from about 25k kms to 380k kms, loved this car. sold in 2001 very very sad.
1999 - rxi 6 speed, non airbag spec. sold in 2006 very sad
2001 - rxi 6 speed airbag spec - sold 6 weeks ago very sad
2012 - 86 - sold 2 weeks ago. very very very sad.

Currently got:
2013 trailblazer
2006 impreza wagon

Next will be the R8.

Have only driven Toyota's

1st: 1984 Corolla 1.8 GLS Sprinter RWD (still drive it occasionally)
2nd: 2007 Yaris T1
3rd: 2009 Auris 1.8 RX
4th: 2009 Yaris 1.8 TS
