Is this a good exhaust?

Is this a good exhaust to run on a FRS with a vortech supercharger? Thank You.

You can get any exhaust you want since the Vortech is a supercharger and its just pulley and not so much exhaust gas.

That is more than I just spent on my Tomei titanium exhaust AND titanium front pipe AFTER shipping.

arguably the best sounding cat-back exhaust for our cars, yes it will do fine with a supercharger, but i would recommend getting an overpipe and front pipe(HFC or cat-less) to go with it, that is where the largest flow restriction comes from.

The restriction is what I wasn't sure about. Thank you!

There are a few vendors on the marketplace that can do, much, much better than that price. Like to the tune of 1k shipped.

I would recommend either keeping your cat stock or going with a straight pipe. HFC don't tolerate the extra heat and pressure from Superchargers. We have seen many high flow cats blow out and clog us the exhaust on Z and G cars as well as trucks. Needless to say this causes catastrophic damage to the engine.

The Ark Performance unit you posted is a decent system in terms of looks, style and performance.

Go catless front pipe like the berk technology unit and you will be golden!

As for restriction on exhausts, I have to disagree with that even though its a supercharged unit.

Exhaust restriction will rob power and response regardless if its NA, Super, or Turbocharged.

Just imagine blowing through a straw, then blow through a pvc pipe.

Thanks,
Michael
