in for that part number too.. I'm curious.. I have the standard boost pulley.. but i'm playing with the idea with upping the boost. I'm hitting aroudn 12-14psi on standard depending on weather.

So I have been able to get some cash to get more umph in this car. I have decided to purchase the Kraftwerks supercharger. However, I am undecided on which unit to purchase, c30/c38. I spoke with CJ and he recommended me getting the c30 as I am not planning to go to the track with it. But I still have questions. But my questions should be directed to people who own or owned the unit. I want this as a daily driver with more power. I currently have a afe catted el header, front pipe and muffler shop installed magnaflow exhaust. So here are my concerns:
1. Can I run the c38 without bigger injectors and high flow pump?
2. If I do run bigger injectors and the pump, do have to run e85?
3. If I convert to e85, can I mix it with 91?
4. Have there been any detonation issues, if so, what is the fix?
5. Do I need to get a boost gauge to monitor the boost?
6. I am want purchase the kit with ecutek, is this a simple process?
7. Should dyno it after install to get most of the supercharger?
I would greatly appreciate any kind of helpful comments, thanks for your time!

Quick Short answer c38. Bigger injectors no on the pump,no on necessary e85, yes on the mixing, yes on boost gauge ,no detonation issues stock plugs are equivalent to ngk (8) which is pretty cold, ecutek simple, and dyno would allow for refined tune but not necessary.. the end.

Ask your tuner

2. If I do run bigger injectors and the pump, do have to run e85?

Nope

3. If I convert to e85, can I mix it with 91?

Yes if you get a flex fuel set up

4. Have there been any detonation issues, if so, what is the fix?

Don't run a lot of boost on pump gas and have a competent tuner

5. Do I need to get a boost gauge to monitor the boost?

Need to? No, but it helped me diagnose my bad SC

6. I am want purchase the kit with ecutek, is this a simple process?

Yes just pay for it

7. Should dyno it after install to get most of the supercharger?

Yes, running around on an unconfirmed tune could be an expensive mistake.

Only crappy thing is now, after reading more info I have to relocate the oil reservoir to the front. No wonder, that's what that huge c clamp was for 😂

Lol! Did you get the "rubberized" clamps? The all metal vibrate and break.

Didn't get to break anything luckily lol. The car stayed on for about a minute or 2 before it cut off. I don't have my etune from motor east yet. Needed to slowly move the car into a spot were I could leave it safely. It did vibrate like a mother fucker from the 21mm belt tension measurement. 😂
Now I know I have to tighten that more from reading back pages.

1. Yes That's how I'm running mine with no issues.
2. You can run E85 and get the best power from the C38 but you will need fuel mods passed...370hp I think.
3. I wouldn't without a way to register the true amount of E85. You can really screw up a tune.
4. There can be; tune it out
5. Yes
6. Yes
7. I like road tuning because you get real world resistance, air and temperature. Obviously its illegal and unsafe if you don't have a planned safe path on the road; I used to use the drag strip for pulls. You run through all of first then hit 3rd or run through 2nd then go to 4th. Dynos are helpful when you want to see a true power curve and don't have safe testing areas.

hey guys so I went and got an oil cooler because this thing hit over 300F on the oil.... 0w-40 castrol edge euro formula with no oil cooler

I ran into a problem, for those who have the kraftwerks adapter plate, are you guys' o-rings too big?? Mine constantly continues to leak and I've went through 5 o-rings and followed instructions to the T. The sandwhich plate does not spin when I torque it down as I hold it in place... let me know what you guys have.
