Still Borla, if that is a POS as well I'll just ask for a refund and most likely get a Tomie EL. Million Mile Warranty $hit.

BTW: this will be the 3rd under warranty.

Your working late aren't you?

I don't and I just learned it's backordered :/ which is really a bummer since I had some planned events this month and in September.

How did you install the replacement belt? I am thinking I can install it without removing the brackets or the Supercharger from the gap between pulleys and the engine

You have to pull the plate holding the supercharger off. I think it's impossible to install it without removing the plate. Get a friend to help. I'd send you my spare belt but it's been chewed up when the pulley came off. It's for emergencies only.

The crank pulley bolt started to come out. It's chewed up on the side, I wouldn't run it longer than I'd have to, and definitely not on the track. I keep it in my trunk should the one I have snap.

as a general informational point....the pic of the belt and how it broke indicates a sudden change in load (ie missed downshift)

Got it if that's bad I wouldn't even bother try installing it since the car runs without the belt with no problem and it takes some effort to put it back in ..

You mean missing the gear and going into neutral? Because a money shift would have blown the engine.

Isn't a sudden change in load what happens every time you shift hard, whether it's a down or up shift?

I think it was just a defective unit since I am really careful with my downshifts and really don't remember when was the last time I missed a downshift .. and I am a very unlucky guy if there is a 2% failure rate it almost guaranteed that I am always in that 2 percentile
