There doesn't really seem to be a way to get the rotation wrong. It just won't fit right any other way. If I pull the first aluminum pipe away from the frame the bumper won't fit. I'll try messing with it again.

I meant within something like 5 to 15 degrees of rotation before finding a good fit with the bumper, wiper bottle neck, bpv, tune back to intake, and connection to blower. It was a fair amount of squirming all around before I was satisfied with it.

Ok gotcha. I'll take the bumper off on my next day off. I can feel a vibration in the brake pedal while stopped as well.

97 F degrees outside, R compounds, SC kit and I still managed to achieve 35-36 mpg on the highway ( cruise control set to 66 mph) when driving to track event

I had a chance to test the front splitter and @Wonderbar Driveway Labs T1 diffuser yesterday, woot! thanks @moto-mike for the revised map, car feels even smoother now

ambient temps were about 92 F+ degrees (a more robust oil cooler is a must at this point since my oil temps reached 280-290 F )

One thing you might want to consider is putting a fan behind the oil cooler, if you mount it in an odd location.

Even with a large oil-air cooler, boxer engines tend to cook the oil more due to cooling restrictions. I'd expect to see 240-250; that's what we see on track with our setup (and our cooler is LARGE). Part of this is due to the FMIC + aftermarket radiator setup. I suspect we'll have the temps back down to 225-230 once we put in an aftermarket fan on the passenger side.

Yeah thats when I figured it would kind of crap out. I'm not going to track the car in this heat so I should be fine. Hopefully the kraftwerks oil cooler is able to keep up with you in this heat!

oh no doubt about it, stacked plate oil coolers are great for that I knew they are more efficient even before I installed the OEM cooler but I had my own reasons I was testing something

Anyone who cares about the longevity of the car beyond stop light sprints will get an oil cooler no matter what kind.

I am still waiting on getting my gauge cluster fixed before I mount my oil temp/pressure gauge. I suspect it is doing just fine as I do not sense any loss of power going home in rush hour. I am pretty proud myself and the effort I made to box in the radiator after the upgrade and loss of the stock air guides due to the intercooler. I am sure I could do better but it was a step in the right direction. Once I get the gauge cluster pod back and finish installing my new gauges, I will add any info about oil temps (note I am running ROBISPEC's radiator oil cooler).

Well I got a chance to get over to Drift Office to get a baseline with my car and talk tuning with Bob. Here's third gear and forth gear pulls on my 6AT with the canned Kraftwerks Automatic Transmission tune.

List of relevant mods are :JDL UEL header, Nameless Performance 3inch OP/DP combo, Perrin 3 inch catback and Drive Shaft Shop aluminum drive shaft. And base Kraftwerks SC kit.
