It's all about timing!....better the fuel, the more timing you can run, the more power you can make

I just called Crawford again today. Again (I forgot his name already) was adamant that the AOS is designed particularly for turbo applications, and that they are running 27psi with no checkvalve and no issues. He also said that if anyone had any issues with the crankcase pressurizing with the AOS installed to call them directly.

Anyway, @KraftWerks I tried the intercooler brackets you guys sent me and success! I was able to fit the front bumper with no issues.

AFAIK you can only get the JR CARB tune directly from JR, not sure how you'd get it for a KW kit. With that said, it will probably work since they both use the C30-94 blower and are close enough in design.

a KW kit with JR tune would not be CARB legal

FYI...the KW kit should receive final carb approval in the next 60-90 days...any kits purchased before then would still be CARB certified

THANKS! after messing with the tensioner for an good hour or two today, finally got the whine to go away. ended up loosening the tensioner a couple mm. that noise coming from the supercharger pulley, normal? or should i go OCD on it some more lol

also received a different Map from @KraftWerks on Friday. (thanks Joe!), car is driving more stock like now. no more hesitation/jerking while driving.

Here's the dyno graph of the original map that came with the kit for anyone that is interested.

I spent about an hour on the tensioner. And that noise is still there. I hope it's just the smooth pulleys that is causing it. I don't mind the wine, but the belt ticking noise I can hear from the cabin. Can only imagine what ppl think when they walk across my car.

Did some ecutek logging, there isn't any knock according to the knock correction field.

But still hearing that weird whirring noise and can not pin point where it's coming from.

i'm debating on putting my kit up for sale to purchase the other kit with a CARB cert. i love the kits performance but being in a city in the middle of a mod crackdown I can't roll around without a cert. before I decide to throw my kit up for sale, is anybody interested in trading their C30 with a some cash on top for my used-for-two-weeks C38...? ideally, you haven't burnt the shit out of your C30... the logic is, you don't care/don't need to worry about emissions and i get the CARB kit i'll need. i'm content waiting for the cert if its coming in the next few months or so. otherwise, i've got to put it up for sale and get the other kit.
