Ken Gushi is a good driver, maybe a top 10 Formula D driver but not a champion. I'll see him live in Atlanta for round 2 and I hope he proves me wrong.

I thought the same. He was laying down a solid run for his lead run. His chase run was solid and then he hit. This has been his biggest problem-consistency. That's something that will make/break you over the season. Again, I'm not saying he's a horrible driver cause he's not. I'm just saying that there's a difference that's easily noticeable between him and a lot of other drivers out there. I'd like to see the FRS with it's driver up on the podium but in order for that to happen, they need either a more skilled driver, or for Ken to be more consistent. If he can do that, he'll be finishing within the top 4 every round without a doubt.

MAYBE a top 10 yes. Like I said, he's not bad, just still has some spots to clean up. I was surprised to see him keeping up with everybody else who was running V8s. They did a good job making sure the rear end had a lot of grip and kept a good contact patch. Considering the FRS has half as many cylinders an 600hp (about the same as a lot of other drivers) and he was keeping on their ass was pretty cool. If he can make it to the finals at Atlanta, he'll be back in the race for the podium spot this season-which would be awesome to see with a BRAND NEW platform.

Though I have to say, I'm rooting for Saito and JTP this season I'd love to see a JP driver come in with an inline 6 and demolish everybody in the lineup. JTP is just an old friend from back in CA at the justdrift/ASB events and has come a long way very quickly. Seeing him take 2nd overall last year was sick. It would be cool to see him finally take the crown this year-even though I'd rather see him in his FC

Such a shame it got stolen a while back

That theft was so lame. Who would do that?

JTP is so consistant and fast but he is just not exciting to me. His style is like Rhys Millen in his prime, boring but effective. Daijiro Yoshihara is my favorite but I am not afraid to admit when he is gifted a win. His battles with Aasbo and Saito should have been OMT.

Ken is drifting the FRS like an s chassis instead of a hatchi. He should be flicking hard and fast on transitions instead of matching smoke.

^^Bingo. Which is why I hate FD so much...well part of why I hate it so much. I'm watching Saito to see how much he dominates and see how much they rob him cause he's not part of Drift Alliance. They're all good drivers-but lets be real....There are so many runs where they clearly lose yet still receive the win. It sucks to see stuff like that

I noticed Saito is already getting dogged on for having that ridiculous car, its surprising how much inside-series-politics are already present in FD for it being such a young series.

Personally I love Saito's driving style and that car of his, its so cool to see and hear a monster 2jz walk all over the v8 cars.

Yup. I've become a fan from watching the few clips of him this weekend. I think they were warmup laps though. But damn, his trunk was like 6inches from hitting the wall! So daring!!!

I bet NOS gets banned before it's all said and done. can't have a six-cylinder beating the v8s can we?

Exactly. He'll make top 4 every round guaranteed so long as he doesn't run into car problems/judges' sore loser douche factor goes up on the scale. I will place cash down on that right now

Ken did a good job and he is learning about his new chassis, the guy gets paid to drive so he obviously has a "little" skill, but its easy to attack a guy from behind a computer screen, what would be better is for you to campaign your own car and prove you are a better driver than him, but thats not going to happen...nuff said

I overheard while i was at the fatlace car show that somebody jacked a sparco steering wheel from a showcar? The announcer said it by the mini skate ramp they had set up, that is sooo shady, wonder if they caught the guy?

3 judge panel and yes it is all political. The announcer has more sponsorships than the drivers.
