I would make the insurance company of the person who hit you fix the car and pay for a rental. This could happen to any car, and your car is going to show some crazy depreciation since it is not very old and it was in several accidents.

Unless you just want a different car..

Getting a different car is just another option. But the point of this thread was to see the communities opinion of the ralliart.

IIRC, the Ralliart has the same basic suspension of the EVO IX. it doesn't get the greatest gas mileage, but the AWD is fun to drive. If you need more space, then it's not a bad choice. I agree with above, though, I'd go with a slightly used EVO, especially if you think you'll ever mod it.

Maybe wait for the next gen WRX? The Lancer, to me, is rather long in the tooth. There will also be the new Mustang coming out which could be interesting.

That said, maybe go drive the Ralliart and see what you think. Lack of a manual is a deal breaker for me...

Yep the new WRX looks promising. You can also find good deals on Golf R's.

Hi!

I have a 2011 Ralliart Sportback. I've built it completely and has approx. 500hp at the crank. It's really fun and I drive it all year (snow in Canada too). It's a really fun car, the AWD system is pretty much the best out there. The stereo/heated seats/etc. are really great and I've enjoyed the car from day 1.

The car takes 91 oct minimum in stock format and is pretty decent on the highway. It's rough on gas city driving. The twin-clutch transmission is really great too. It acts very much like a manual without the clutch hassle for traffic situations.

Hope this helps!

Have you done 0-60 test on your car when it was stock? I heard it was suppose to be like 5 something.

I have an Evo X. It's a world of difference. If you are looking for a daily driver, get something that's not for performance. But it depends on your preference as well.

You don't think the Ralliart would be a good DD? I am not one of those guys who drives crazy everyday, only when I feel like it.

Might be nice. I've never driven a ralliart. It could be fun.

I ran 5.5s stock form. You have to use something called the 'tap' method to build boost (Google it!)

I'm doing about 3.2s in current form

Correct me if I am wrong but they only come in auto and was that 5.5 with or without launch?

Sportback! That's the one to get, absolutely. They're hard to find around here. I looked for a bit, but I'd rather have one of the twins.
