and ohh yeah about the side vents , I figure in a month or two you can ebay
colormatch "86" side pannels from Scion FRS or GT86s ... unless you went with
WRB ... which might cause some issues ... but for DGM people like myself it'll be a shoe in.
It was ripped off in the BRZ I got to play in. Its very flimsy feeling. It can pop off with a swift tug.

The seatbelt guide does sound flimsy from what others on the forum have experienced - it being ripped out and such at auto shows. When I sat in the car and saw the seatbelt guide, I noticed it had an extra layering of nylon underneath the fabric, probably to offset the wear. So the seatbelt guide has two layers, which is still better than one. I think the weak point of the seatbelt guide are the buttons that hold it in place. I can see problems with those with repeated use.

However, you don't have to use it. The seatbelt won't touch the guide when buckled in, therefore, it won't cause abrasion to the top of the seatbelt guide.

I hope this helps.

Oh and just so you know, Steven's Creek has a nasty premium (extra cost, not trim level) for their last two BRZs. Something like 3 or 4 grand. You can still pre-order but expect to pay quite a bit more.

When I saw this car at SC Subaru the silver definitely felt nice. If I can't get white I want silver.

Nice pics. I went down there and sat in this exact car last weekend. I have a deposit for an FRS a few miles down the road at Stevens Creek Toyota/Scion. It was nice to finally sit in the car and get a feel for it. Also if anyone is interested I am trying to start up an "86" owners club in the Bay Area. The link to it is in my facebook page. Mainly just want to organize meets once every 8 to 12 weeks after the car's are out. Looking for BRZ, FR-S and original 86 owners.
