Just a suggestion, but it would be helpful. Bring a bullhorn for raffle and driver's meeting. Its always difficult to hear.

Let's plan to hold the raffle/meetings near or under the shade of that big tree area... last time people were baking in the sun during the raffle.

JR can you post up a tentative schedule of events? Like when the eating starts, when the raffle starts, judging and awards for car show, and then drive meeting and departure.

BTW here is where in the park the event will be held - picnic area called Agua Vista. Make a right turn after entering through the gate (after you pay the park entry fee)

Tentative Schedule

8:00 9:00 - Vendor Setup
9:00AM-11:00 - Roll in and Registration
10:30 - 11:30 - Cooking/Grilling
11:30 - 1:30PM - Eating/Picnic
1:30 - 2:00 - Raffle and Awards
2:00 - 2:30 - Cleanup/Tear down
2:30 - 2:45 - Drivier's Meeting
2:45 - Departure for the Drive

NOTE: the faster we clean up the faster we leave for the drive.

Here you go:

Via Google map:
A- Del Valle Regional Park (7000 Del Valle Rd, Livermore, CA)
B- Junction (47300 Mines Rd, Livermore)
C- Licks Observatory (7281 Mt Hamilton Rd, Mt Hamilton)

Planned drive is from the park to the junction. From there we can break off and do a u turn back to Livermore or head to the observatory.

39 min from park to junction
52 min from junction to observatory
