that is not the purpose for my application. my car is already loud. im doing this so it can be quiet or loud when i want, without sacrificing performance when its time to race. backpressure is very relevant. an open dump will have very little backpressure. killing low end. this car NA does not like that. a free flowing exhaust with some backpressure is good. this aint no v8.

so if youd like to ignore backpressure thats fine with me but im doing this for a reason

I didn't want to bring up back pressure because people throw that word out without really knowing what they're talking about. There's a lot more to it than that.

Case in point, you.

But yes, like I said earlier, the setup I mentioned would be good for someone with the stock exhaust.

@mad_sb do you think you'd be able to run dual mufflers with this setup? I'm really looking to keep the dual exit setup and it LOOKS like it might be able to be done from the picture you took looking straight on at the back of your car.

I took some rough dimensions last time I looked under my car and I THINK it could be done if there was a y-pipe located where you have the v-band setup connecting your mid pipe to the inlet tube of the muffler. @FT-86 SpeedFactory, since you built this one off, do you seem to recall if you could split the exhaust to run dual mufflers/tips?

Thanks again guys, awesome work!!
