Can you please ask him when we can expect to get a FR-S catalog from the dealer showing various options. Or maybe what specific release day they are shooting for. He probably can't answer them, but worth the shot. Have fun and good luck. :happy0180:

Probably because of the high value of the yen.

Since I'm out town, can you ask him if the $1,000 military rebate will be applicable to the FR-S, as it is to all other Scions?

Thanks!

From what I understand, this may be up to Toyota Financial Services / Southeast Toyota Finance, at least the $1,000 grad rebate is. Last time I checked the Grad rebate expired 4/2/2012, but they haven't announced when and if it will be reinstated. Also, they did say it was for any Scion, so I guess it all depends on whether it will be still available in the future.

Really my question would be if an upgraded version of this car will be available and when those options will be released, whether Subaru-like "package" or small upgrades (or rather things that should be there but are not, just so they can bring up the price, like automatic headlights).

Scion has updated their website with an expiration date of July 9, 2012,
of the college grad rebate. The drop down menu box only lists 2012 Scion models, no 2013 FR-S.

If the BRZ rings in at 1500 above the FRS, i'm asking for a complementary BeSpoke in my first 86 car...

Iono, i never got anywhere by being thankful and reserved...everything that worked well in my life happend when I was aggressive about things :P I'm never going to get the opportunity to ask someone that matters the questions that I have, if not now then when?

I agree about not being an asshole about it, but there are nice ways to ask tough questions too

If you think the BRZ is a better deal, then buy the BRZ. I'm still considering it myself.
