Question regarding - Stock MAF Sensor Scaling.

I downloaded my stock ECU tune via the OFT into TunerPro and when I looked at the MAF Sensor Scaling table it does not look anything like the ones provided for by the OFT ots tunes. The voltages and I presume g/sec are wacky. Does anyone know why the stock scaling is so way off?

Thanks.

Is anyone else experiencing tuner pro crashing every time you try to go to adjust the launch control values?

It's actually Italian and yes, it's a known bug. Should be fixed by tomorrow. Everything else should work though

Looks like you had a stock ROM with an older cal ID (700C or 900C). This is why it does not translate properly when using the current XDF file which is only compatible with A00C and A01C ROMs. To view stock ROM data, don't view your original ROM but rather the "Stock Mapping" ROM that is included in the OTS map file that you downloaded off the site.

Cheers,
Shiv

Sounds like you are using an older version of Tuner Pro that doesn't translate 32 bit data properly. This was a bug that was fixed a few weeks back. But didn't get on our website (for download) until a couple weeks ago. Just uninstall the current version of Tuner Pro and re-install it using the download link HERE (same as on our website).

Also, make sure that you are only trying to adjust the launch/FFS settings on the Tuned ROM files, not your stock ROM file which does not have this feature.

Cheers,
shiv

I know this is getting to be a broken record but when will data logging be available?

I won't purchase until it does and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Also do you plan on supporting various headers or will it be a one size fits all. ?

Thanks,
Matt

Datalogging/Dataviewing will be released when it is done. This most recent firmware update (and new OpenFlash Manager software) has to do with datalogging functionality (among other things). Hard to give an ETA on when it will be made active since there are more than one pan on the stove at this time. But the programming team is making good progress on everything.

We will support a many headers as we personally tune. But I expect many people to make maps for their own particular setup since dialing in headers isn't much more than just tweaking VVT mapping during the dip region. This can even be done off the dyno by just datalogging MAF. More on that later once datalogging is enabled.

This is why most people are getting ancie we want to make changes to our tunes however without datalogging it creates a hurdle that either has to be solved by trying to use outside programs or the inability to make changes.

I understand being busy but the problem is that when I personally have asked questions in this thread and I believe another I have been ignored. Busy or not when I am trying to promote your device at my shop and I can't even fully tune with it nor give an ETA to those locals waiting we have a problem and it causes further problems aka a snow ball effect.

I still would like answers to my questions regarding the lack of MAF changes between the AirRaid and Stock Box tunes since you removed the AirRaid option. Mainly because I noticed your new 2.0 tune is not only using the stock box but also has MAF Scaling changes which is something I expected to find on the AirRaid instead of just finding changes to the Fuel Table.
Since you are no longer supporting the AirRaid but many of us are running it without the ability to data log I would appreciate some feedback on what if any changes we should transfer over to continue using it.

I also would like an update on E85.

Here is an idea, in the main post put an ETA. The ETA can change things happen and your clients here completely understand that. Yes if you change it 4 or 5 times you might get some flack but what we are looking for is confirmation this is not going to be another Unichip promise that a year later nothing comes of it.
Not to mention there is a reason deadlines exist, they drive us. Sometimes they must be moved but they help to keep things on track, working at a software company we have deadlines for those very reasons.

Good luck with the what you are working on.

This is exactly main Murphy's law -"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".
So we may be pretty sure that everything went wrong in our case (including that damned sea urchin).
I am trying to relax (difficult) and don't wait (easy, but can't stop useless daily checking the sites/forums for updates yet). And the tune will finally arrive, in one or another way
Everything is going wrong and pray our desperately expected OTS tunes will be at least correct...

I'm pretty sure shiv and company are not going to leave us on a ledge. The data logging is out of their hands since another company is programming for it. Things will happen. It may not be as fast as we want but it will happen soon.

I rather things get handled correctly rather then rushed because we demand it. I want tunes that won't ruin my car. We already had enough of that on this forum.

Guys chill! Shiv is working full on these and the updates. I waited patiently for the international A01J rom stage 1 and got it yesterday. Flashed it today and all works fine. Did datalogs (other software) and happy with the results. The car absolutely screams from 7000rpm to 7650rpm. Those 200 extra rpm are awesome! Thanks Shiv@Vishnu

Hi guys,
Apologies to everyone who has been patiently waiting for international tuned ROM support. Looks like we are finally caught up with all pending requests. Which means that we now have tuned ROM support for the following markets:

Bahrain (J series ROM)
Saudi Arabia (K series ROM)
China (N series ROM)
Hong Kong (G series ROM)

These tuned ROMs files (Stage 1 and Stage 2) will be available upon email request to all OFT users.

If you have an OFT and still don't have ROM support, please email me your original ROM (as read by OFT) to shiv@vishnutuning.com and include the following info:

1) List of modifications
2) Fuel type
3) 6AT or 6MT
4) Domestic market (country)

Cheers,
Shiv

Shocking the amount of ROM's for these cars. There used to be a time when all there was was US, Europe, and Japan specific roms. I understand the need to have different ROMs for different regions but why different roms for countries that are only miles apart?! I wouldn't be surprised if there were different roms in the same country at this point! Case in point the Japanese market has I think 8 roms for 1 model year!!!!!
