Please help me find this underbody rattle

I was going to suggest you check if this area was rattling at higher speeds. @kanundrum was getting some rubbing at freeway speeds because a clip in the fender liner wasn't put back; oddly enough it only rubbed when in clean air (when not drafting).

That sounds really similar. I'll have to get a look at it after work today and see where the missing clip is. Thanks guys.

This noise started on my BRZ over the weekend on a 600 mile road trip. a tapping underneath the front of the car at above 70mph, it seemed as though gusts of wind affected it. I think it's the rubberized front undertray, as it has some up and down play in it that can tap the metal it covers. I guess I'll take it off and put it back on and see if I can tighten it down some more... I had it at a shop a few days ago for my track inspection, so maybe they just didn't put it on correctly. It looks fine, but definitely has a little play in it.


Scared the crap out of me originally, I was afraid something was going to fall off, because in high winds at high speed the noise can get pretty loud.
