Just curious why it has to be completely off? Obviously it would make it easier to work on but was wondering if something in particular makes it impossible to work on while bolted to the heads? Also any idea of the weight of the corp (dry) that bolt into the manifold?

I don't know for sure but I remember thinking to myself, during the install, that the blower wouldn't be easy to remove from the manifold easily due to hard to reach/ obstructed hex bolts.

Those don't look completely terrible. I know Brady and Matthew over at Pure Automotive had to remove/reinstall 2 of them to install the retaining clip that my kit shipped without.

you can get to those pretty easily. Matt and I were talking about that the other day at Pure, actually. The hex screws are reachable while standing on the side of the car, it's not difficult.

So I guess the screws themselves are not the reason the whole manifold needs to come out.

I was talking about the whole job to fit the IC kit not just the laminova part of the kit.
